There is a story of a man clinging to a horse which is galloping at breakneck speed down a country road. Another man walking along the road calls out to the rider as he whizzes by, "Hey, where are you going?" To which the rider yells back, "I don't know, ask the horse!"
Do you ever feel like you are that rider and your life is that horse? I absolutely identify with this story! If you have not identified your mission and begun setting goals in your life that pertain to your mission, then I bet you do too. Wouldn't you rather be that man walking down the road, knowing his destination, making progress toward arriving at it and having the time to to ask someone else questions?
In the next series of blogs, I plan to begin talking first about defining your mission, (guess what, you already know it, so no need to discover it!) and setting goals related to that mission. No more need to ask the horse where you're going...
Nothing happens... unless first a dream. Carl Sandburg
