I am a speaker to educators, parents, women’s groups and businesses. With twenty years of experience as a school counselor, I know and understand the challenges faced by educators, parents and students on a personal level.Since, I am passionate about living a good story as well as writing a good story, I also speak on discovering your God-given talents and reinventing your life. I deliver a message of hope, humor and practical strategies for winning in the family and in your career.

Author
I am an accomplished writer and have published five children’s books about Wyatt The Wonder Dog. He is a curious dog who wonders about everything. Through delightful, engaging stories, I help young children learn new skills for coping with the many problems and situations they encounter. You can read about Wyatt and his adventures here.
For adults, I have written the book, The Call: Perfect Dream, Imperfect Life. It guides the reader through an inward and outward journey of maximizing your God given gifts and achieving your dream.

As a school counselor for over twenty years, I know and understand the challenges faced everyday by educators. Students enter school with their own unique profile. Personality, abilities, family background and environmental factors, all combine to create the child in today’s classroom. My most important role is that of parent to my two creative and talented daughters, Laura 30 and Hayley, 27. It has been my honor and privilege to encourage and empower them to discover and achieve their dreams.
